Digital magic brings your event to life in a contemporary way. This walk act also works decentrally without a stage in all room situations and encourages communication between guests. APPsolutely unique!
Info: Up to 2 hours possible. The show is repeated from table to table. The close-up program includes completely different digital themes and effects than the stage program and can therefore be perfectly combined with it.

Frequently asked questions about Close-Up
What is iPad close-up magic?
Close-up magic with an iPad is absolutely unique and has been developed by digital magician Andreas Axmann. The magic takes place not only between the hands, but also on the display of an iPad or a smartwatch. Up close at the table, the audience witnesses how things leave the screen, penetrate it or merge with digital content to create a new reality. Precisely because the technology is familiar, it creates a special moment of irritation and amazement.
For which events is close-up magic suitable?
Close-up magic is particularly suitable for events where there is no stage and the guests move freely around the room or sit at tables. Company parties, receptions, networking events or trade fairs are typical situations. The show does not take place centrally, but is spread around the room. This creates many small encounters that fit organically into the event.
How does close-up magic actually work?
Andreas Axmann moves from table to table or group to group and decides when the right moment is right for a short performance. Conversations are not interrupted, but rather stimulated and supplemented. Many amazing and visual effects then happen in a short space of time and sometimes in the hands of the audience. Afterwards, the program is repeated among the other guests.
How many viewers can be reached at the same time?
Close-up magic works in smaller groups. This creates a very direct form of interaction. Over the course of an event, however, Andreas Axmann reaches all guests by adjusting the speed and duration of the individual performances.
What technology is required for close-up magic?
Andreas Axmann is completely independent of a stage or elaborate event technology and can move freely around the room like a walk act. He carries all the props he needs with him. It is precisely this flexibility that makes close-up magic so special, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “tablehopping”.
What is the difference between digital close-up magic and classic table magic?
Classic table magic often works with cards, coins or rings as the only props. In the digital version, objects merge with digital content and topics such as artificial intelligence. The screen becomes the interface between two worlds. When something suddenly becomes real from the display, a new kind of magic is created that is difficult to categorize. This uniqueness makes all the difference and is often remembered for a particularly long time.
Another Tip…
Andreas Axmann can distribute this card to the individual tables before his performance. On the back, guests can read who he is and what he does. The guests are asked to wave their cards in German and English. The media magician then comes to the relevant table with his iPad and starts his close-up magic.
This principle has the advantage that no conversations are interrupted and the artist comes to the table at the perfect time, when everyone is really ready for entertainment. The card is free of advertising and Andreas Axmann always has enough of them with him.

Virtual Reality
You can take part in a virtual close-up magic show as an immersive experience. You will need VR glasses and the specially produced 360°/3D film.
An installed YouTube app is required for systems with smartphones. The 3D effect (Cardboard mode) only works with an Android operating system. To use it with the Vision Pro, you need the Moon Player from the App Store. Watch this video to find out how!
Without VR glasses, you can at least watch the “digital shell game” as a 360° video without the 3D effect. Use this video for that!
