Saving the climate with AI

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and it will take more than just technical solutions to tackle it. In my show lecture, I combine two seemingly contradictory worlds, magic and technology. As a magician, I bring the invisible to light. It’s not just about illusions, but about impulses for the future. One of these impulses is that artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool in the fight against the climate crisis. But only if we use it creatively.

AI has the ability to analyze huge amounts of data in seconds. It recognizes patterns that remain hidden to us humans and can therefore optimize the energy consumption of buildings, increase the efficiency of solar systems or make climate models more precise, for example. In global warming research, AI is helping to make more accurate predictions and develop preventative measures. But technology alone is not enough. Humans must decide how these tools are used. And this is where creativity comes into play and, why not, a little magic.

In my performances, I show that climate and AI don’t have to be cold, abstract topics. They can be fascinating, touching and inspiring if told in the right way. With special visual effects, dramaturgical twists and interactive moments, I open up my audience to a deeper discussion. Because climate protection doesn’t start with technology, it starts with awareness. And this awareness can be awakened through creative experiences.

The magic mix: Why creativity is the key

Artificial intelligence can do a lot, but it is not creative. It calculates, compares and predicts. But developing real, groundbreaking ideas for climate protection requires something that machines cannot do, namely human imagination. The best solutions are not created by data models alone, but by the interaction of heart and mind. And sometimes, I believe, through a pinch of magic.

Creativity is more than just “colorful ideas”. It is the courage to break new ground. The courage to imagine a world in which climate protection does not mean sacrifice, but progress. In which AI is not thought of as a replacement for humans, but as an extension of their possibilities. In which technology is not alienated, but embedded in values, stories and visions.

In my presentation, I take the audience on a journey through these visions. I show how climate and artificial intelligence not only complement each other, but can also inspire each other. It’s like a magic trick. The technology behind it is fascinating, but what really counts is the amazement. Amazement opens doors. Doors to new ways of thinking, to collaboration, to real change.

Clear the stage for new impulses in thinking

What happens if we view the use of AI not just as a technical project, but as a cultural challenge? When we ask ourselves how we want to live? What role should artificial intelligence play in our relationship with the climate? And how can we shape this relationship in a way that creates a real future?

I don’t provide definitive answers in my show lecture, but I do open up spaces for new questions. I make visible what is still invisible. I use stage magic as a means of touching the audience emotionally and challenging them rationally at the same time. Because the topic of climate and AI needs both emotion and reason. Technology and imagination. Data and stories.

I believe that climate change can only be tackled if we appeal to all the senses. If we harness the power of artificial intelligence without forgetting our human capabilities. If we forge new alliances between science and art, between machine logic and the human spirit. My aim is to create a small spark with every performance. A spark that, in the best case, becomes a wildfire of enthusiasm for creative climate protection. Experience in my show how I make CO2 disappear with the help of AI!
