Climate protection with AI

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time and it takes more than just technical solutions to tackle it. In my show talk, as a digital magician, I combine two seemingly opposing worlds, namely magic and technology. Artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool in the fight against the climate crisis. But only if we use it creatively.

AI has the ability to analyze huge amounts of data in seconds. It recognizes patterns that remain hidden to us humans and can thus, for example, optimize the CO₂ consumption of buildings, increase the efficiency of solar systems or refine climate protection plans. In global warming research, AI is helping to make more accurate predictions and develop preventative measures. But technology alone is not enough. Humans must decide how these tools are used. And this is where creativity comes into play and, why not, triggered by a bit of magic. Because climate protection doesn’t start with technology, it starts with awareness, which can be awakened through creative experiences.

Creativity as the key

Developing real, ground-breaking ideas for climate protection requires something that machines cannot do, namely human imagination. The best solutions don’t come from data models alone, but from the interaction of heart and mind. My iPad magic is certainly creative. But creativity also means having the courage to break new ground. In my show, I demonstrate how climate and artificial intelligence can complement each other and inspire real change.

Clear the stage for environmental magic

In my show presentation, I abstract the idea that AI can be used to find the places where too much CO₂ is produced. My iPad serves as a representation of this technology. A CO₂ spray can is then visually pressed into the iPad display and dissolves into a visual graphic. My aim is to create a little spark for more enthusiasm for climate protection with every performance. Experience in my show how I achieve this with the help of magic.
