TV appearance
I was a guest in the studio of the Sat.1 breakfast television where I was able to enchant two of the well-known presenters with my magical iPad. In an introductory film, I presented passers-by whom I surprised with digital-real special effects. A mixture of technology, illusion and amazement. The response was great, because on Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen viewers see a combination of entertainment, news, service topics and live acts in the morning.
This is how I designed the TV moment
It was important for me to explain the kind of magic I create live. I explained how I combine digital special effects and real props to create an interactive experience. The audience could see how I use technology to visually surprise, exactly what inspires viewers of Sat.1 Breakfast TV in the morning. Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen has existed since October 1, 1987 and is one of the most popular morning shows in Germany. Each program reaches millions of people between 5:30 and 10:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at weekends. For me, the show meant: an audience that is open to innovation and visual surprises.
What I have conveyed
I explained how, as a digital entertainer, I use my iPad to create content that touches and inspires people in their everyday lives. I talked about how I can combine digitalization and magic. This included examples of how I surprise passers-by digitally – performed live via iPad, conveyed via TV images and thus painted a clear picture of what is possible when technology, creativity and the stage come together.
